Our club Réamann Uí Annluain is now 31 years in existence since being reformed as a B team in S.Armagh B league 1977, and first home game in present Páirc against Crossmaglen Rangers “B” team, was refereed by present Armagh Central Council Delegate Eugene Duffy. Following year 78 team entered All County league div 3, and still a small urban team depending mostly on the old local families at the time and many still to the fore as new families move into the new estates.
From 1960 team played in S.Armagh division then in 1966 the all county league was formed with Pass winning div 4 and getting promoted to div 3 1967 but were relegated to 4 for 1968. The following year O’Hanlons and Mullabrack amalgamated playing in div 4 1969 and part 1970, later folding and remained out off GAA till 1977 when Ray Mc Sherry & Dominic Garvey attended a meeting of South Board in Camlough and got a team entered in B league. A proposal put forward by delegates for both O’Hanlons and Lissummon to form a minor team and Lissummon delegates Noel Rice and the Late Peter O’Hagan agreed, later named St Josephs. In following years teams fielded at u/12—u/14—u/16 as well and St Josephs now still going strong after 31 years. There were several other combinations at u/16 & u/18 but presently only at minor level St Josephs are joined with Whitecross under St Brigids.
